I have installed everything and after about 5 minutes it logs me out and I can't log back in as admin I use the username - root and my password but I can't get in. Please help

I don't know all you need but here is some.
Apache version 2.2.17
PHP version 5.2.15
MySQL version 5.0.91-community-log
Operating system linux
