Hello,

Is this In-link2.x or In-portal with In-link3.x?

Technically, you can open your dump file and change your old MD5 to whatever you want. The MD5 of root password located at the very to top that file. Feel free to open a support ticket in case if you need help with creating new MD5.

Thank you.

What is the name of the Dump file, there seems to be 3 of them...and what would the code look like where my password would be hidden?

inlink ver 2.4.3

Hello Dale,

The file name is "admin/backup/dump.php". The password is stored in a top portion of the file and that piece of code would look like
###e10adc3949ba59abbe56e057f20f883e###. Please note that the actual MD5'ed password you need to change looks similar to this "e10adc3949ba59abbe56e057f20f883e", but you'll have different one.

Good luck.

ok i've opened up that file, and it seems to be blank????? I really need to get this database back up and running asap.
is the any way i can just add information to that file and make a password??
thanks so much for your help.

Would it matter if i've had to reinstall the IN-LINK?? it wouldn't overwrite the backup i've made would it?!?!

Dale,

If that file is plank that means there is no backup has been made, since everything should be written to that file. Other option would be to contact your server host and see if they have any DB backups available. Mean time you can run the installation script in order to have at least empty directory up.

Thank you.

is this true? eventhough I've made a backup in the past(about 30days ago)? is there anything that can be done?
the other DUMP files seem to have lots of information in them.

Dale,

I can take a look at your In-link, but I would need an FTP access to it. Please open a support ticket if you want us to look into this.

Thank you.
