This version of FCK editor doesn't work on Mac OSX (Firefox or Safari)
There is a newer version which does.
When inserting an image (Win2000/IE) I get the loginscreen for in-portal

Hello,
We will update the FCK in the next major update (not in the one coming up in a couple of days). As far as uploading images, you are not supposed to be able to do that through FCK (we are going to remove the image icon in that update).
Each item has a special image tag for uploading pictures and associating them with items.
