I am still a novice at programming and internet/browser compatibility, I have a question:

Is In-Portal and the templates HTML 5 friendly or are updates needed?

All existing In-Portal themes are made using HTML4.

Usually it's just a matter of replacing "DOCTYPE" tag in top of each page to make it HTML5 compatible though.
