Hello,
in the future i would gladly selling books or documents (PDF-Files or E-Books) or (downloadable) software with In-Portal. A person, who clicks on a download-Link must pay this document before. Is this function supported by your planned e-Commerce-Tool? Does the e-commerce-tool support differnet types of payments (Receive, VISA, AMEX, etc.) or connections to german micropayment-services (www.firstgate.de or t-pay.de)?

Hello everyone,

I have an error message on my web site and I can't find how to solve it.
Here is the message :
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/acupunctu/www/core/kernel/startup.php on line 124

I also download from "In-Portal" the last "startup.php" file, and put it on FTP (to replace the "older" one), but I still have this error message.

Anyone faced the same pb?

Message not showing up

Hi,

I am trying to get my forums to work. I set up the categories, when I entered a test topic on the live site, the topic shows up. When I click on the the topic, it goes to the home page instead of showing the message/question. I looked at all the settings and cannot figure out what the problems is.

Hi,

On our current plan with our hosting provider, we are paying $200 per year. And I just saw Cloudways' BFCM deal where they are offering 40% for 4 months. If we signup for their basic plan using the BFCM deal, we will end up paying $104 for the year and even without the deal, I think the pricing is a steal as it will amount to $120 per year. So in any case we end up saving at least $96 to $80 and that is why we are really considering switching to Cloudways.

I need a suggestion. What CMS would be best for a web site for posting resumes? I am thinking of a sort of Forum but also each user can post a resume and the resume would be the center piece of the web site.

HI,

I a novice at CMS's and have looked at Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress and others, I can tell you that the features included in In-Portal excellent compared to others. The install process is frustrating and may need to be improved, however, I can say In-Portal is a very good CMS. Hopefully it can be a one click install like other CMS's.

Overtime as new features are added and updates made to this CMS, it will be the best available.

We need to spread the word about In-portal, no one seems to know about In-Portal and I hope to see more developers and people participating in the forums. Like I said, I am a novice but trying to learn, I will help others when I can.

Root Password

The setting is called "Root password" which means that's a password for "root" user specifically.

In first input field you enter new password and in second input field you retype it again to confirm. Then when you press "Save" button on top the password for "root" user will be changed.

I would like to update a website that I made 4 years ago but I my logins (username or password) are not working.
I have not (as I recall) made any changes on them.
As there are no "forgot your password" on the admin login page. Is there any solution ?

Admin Console, Left Frame Empty

I have an issue when I log into the admin the left hand side of the Page that shows the menu does not appear. Plus when trying to add a new Link it sits there loading, loading. etc...does nothing.

the admin install via the core, at the root password, it goes blank, not only that it now drops all db, so i'm going to see why, and post a update.. not sure if its the server or what but even so it was working fine :

Getting Module Not Licensed Message

I have all the modules installed except for the In-Commerce module. In the status column, it says "Module Not Licensed". When I click on the message, I get a menu with the following radio buttons:

Check System Requirements
Reinstall In-Portal
Install In-Portal to a New Database
Update License Information
Update Database Configuration

I did click on the update license radio button, went thru the steps and still did not work.

I have deleted and reinstalled a couple of times.

Is there a bug in the loading process? Does anyone know how to fix this?

Using In-Portal with Wordpress

I have a VPS server. Do I load Wordpress onto the same server with In-portal than install the In-Portal template onto Wordpress? Will I still get the same features from In-Portal such as forums, Directory, In-Commerce etc?

Hello, the issue i'm having is not on this forums -- Thought i would ask..

Issue is, how can i bypass the install to the next page... i have full root to cpanel/WHM and noting we haved change is working with the [Passed]

Trying to add a banner/image to this field in the admin. enter everything require but once I try and add the image I get the following error message,

"One or more fields on this form has an error.
Please move your mouse over the fields marked with red to see the error details.
Image - Field is required"

Everything looks ok but will not add the image.
Thoughts?

Hi,

I am trying to configure my directory. I don't want contact forms to show up when clicking on a website in the directory. I tried the following:

1. In admin, I went to the Directory section in the tree, clicked on output and unchecked the box next to "Enable Link Contact Forms"

2. When I press save I get a message that says "Select Module Root Section: Home".

3. I press save again and get a message that says "Your changes were successfully saved!"

The box I unchecked next to "Enable Link Contact Forms" is automatically checked again.

Did I do this right or is there a bug?

The Java template compression is not the issue, correct? The problem seems to be the Web server timezone is explicitly set [failed]. I opened the PHP.INI file and do not see how I can fix this. Is there another way to fix this so I can install?

I am hoping someone can help me solve this problem.

How To Remove Theme Selection Drop Down Menu

I am using the advanced template. When I go to my website, in the upper right hand corner there is a drop down menu that says "Your Theme" and next to it a drop down menu that lets you pick the theme such as advanced or default. How do I remove this box from the index/home page?

Spam registration

Hi Folks,

Lately I have been getting numerous fictitious registered members on my site and all coming from the same IP. I have banned this IP but they must own the whole block of IP's 91.200.12.XX. Annoying.

is there a way to stop these spam registered entries on my site? Would a captcha resolve this on the registration page?

Cannot Get Forums or In Link To Work

Hello Everyone,

I have posted before and nothing has fixed the following problem:

I am using the advanced theme. I set up the forums and created a category title "Airlines" ---> sub category American Airlines. When I entered a new topic that says FF program to test, I click on it and it goes to the index page (home page) ie: does not show the topic that was typed in. You can see what a I am talking about if you go to www.mytravelsource.com and click thru the forums. I have the same problem with In-link. Could this be a template problem?

I have spent in excess of 20 hours trying to get this to work. I have set permissions, deleted and reloaded the template just to name a few things I have tried. If I cannot get this to work, I will need to abandon In-Portal and switch to another CMS.
