I have just one link as a test and I can't figure out what I did wrong when following your instructions in regards to placing my links in the bottom of the "in-portal" home page. Also I can seem to find the actual URL/link I placed in the directory. If you need certifiedhiphop.com ---I'm new so please have patience. ----thanxs John Allen Shaw |
Hello John,
Would please be a little more specific about this? Do you mean you can't install the software or you simply can't see some of the links when the main page displayed fine?
I will be better if you open a support ticket for this.
Thanks. |
I opened a support ticket with number 664. I installed both the in-portal platform and the in-link module. The main page is at certifiedhiphop.com. I then discovered thtat the directory of links DO NOT show up on the Index.php PAGE....so I proceeded to follow your instructions at Your Link Instructions. The purpose of these instructions were to have customers display the link directory on this index page near the bottom...correct? WEll....mine do not show, niether does an editor list appear. WHY? I am new to php, but I do know javascript and html very well. Is there something that I'm missing? Can you direct me in the right path so that I can fix what is broken? |
I found the problem...CHANGE THE PERMISSIONS so that EVERYTHING will be SHOWN. Jesus Christ...you guys have enough features, buttons, and options.... |
Hey Shiznaw, welcome to the In-Link / In-Portal group.
Like yourself I was fine at regular page coding but had not messed with php. I found In-Link and started using it and asking questions of the support guys.
It wasn't long before I was getting a grip on the program which enabled a little bit of php to sink in.
If you have any questions drop a note here for Dmitry or one of the others. They'll usually get back to you pretty quick.
If you have a problem then follow up the post here with a support ticket (just like you did).
Good luck with your site and as a user from the early days .....
I too have to say that there are a
LOT of new features / buttons / options / ect. with the new In-Portal.
Just be glad you hadn't spent a couple years on learning this thing pretty good, to have this version come out.
The first few days were a little frustrating, but as I find more options and features I'm glad that the product and support has stayed above average.
