When posting a link, it gives the option to upload a thumbnail and tick for full view. Could the system not create the thumbnail image from the uploaded full image. Rather than have to upload two images?

Hello David,

Are you talking about the Front End or Admin?

On the Front End you can upload one or both depends on how you setup your templates. You can upload two separate images - thumbnail and full size one.

In the Admin you can do the same plus make the Thumnail image to be used as well as Full size one.

Thanks.

No, I mean make it so the user or admin only uploads one image, the full image. Then have the script create the thumbnail using GD2. Like most image gallery and forum scripts are doing.

Hello Dave,

Oh, I see what you mean. Well, I am sure it's possible and sounds like a great feature. I'll make sure to put on the "Wish list", but can't tell you any specifics or date when it will be available as part of the default functionality. In case if you need this badly and would be interested in a custom work, we can make this feature specifically for your website.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you.

Thanks Dmitry

I can wait, as I have manually created thumbnails.

But forgive me if I send a load of "Wish List" it's soon  I'll create a new thread for those, most are idea's taken from other applications, but would enhance this one. And although not a programmer, I'm sure most are easy to add!

Sure David, you can post the feature request under "Features and Functionality" section. That's where look when putting together the list of feature for the new release.

Thanks.
